This is an installation of an old DIY solar panel that I had that is over 30 years old. It has some humidity damage from being in Florida. In this video I show you how I mounted the panel using Unistrut, some bolts, an old fence post, and some wood. I also test the panel with a multimeter to reveal that the panel is 18 volts without a load and more than 3 amps with a load from the multimeter.
I plan to install the other 3 panels I have in the next few weeks. I will replace the old wiring and rewire each of the junction boxes (the black panels on the back of the solar panel at the top). These panels are fragile and I do not want to damage them any further. If the performance keeps up after I clean and mount each of these panels, then I may get 10 to 12 amp-hours from these panels at peak sun.
